In the church, one can see well-preserved icons and scenes from the Bible painted on the walls. The colors are still vibrant and everything seems almost alive.

Κατερίνα Αναγνώστου Yes, the colors of the Voronet Monastery last well since 1488. I read that they used a special azurite pigment that does not fade easily.
Христо Василев Yes, Voroneț is famous precisely for that blue that doesn't go away. I also read that it is from local minerals.
Тарас Панченко Voroneț is dedicated to Saint George, that is why his paintings stand out so clearly on the west wall.
