This large church has a high ceiling that seems to look up to the sky. The light from the chandeliers falls beautifully on the walls and everything seems peaceful and prayerful.
Biserica asta mare are un tavan înalt care parcă ridică privirea spre cer. Lumina de la candelabre cade frumos pe pereți și totul pare liniștit și plin de rugăciune.

Галина Соколова The Tavan is really tall and the candles illuminate it beautifully.
Élodie Bernard Yes, the light from the chandeliers shows well on the walls. In Alsace, Orthodox churches often have lower ceilings, but the effect is the same when all the lights are turned on at vespers.
Pavel Černý Yes, that high ceiling really makes you look up. In our cathedral in Prague, the chandeliers are smaller, but the light falls exactly the same on the iconostasis in the pew.
Степан Павлов The tavan is tall, and the arches seem even older, the stone has already darkened with time.
Corina Stan Yes, that light from the chandeliers falls exactly on the wall to the right of the iconostasis and you can see every detail of the painting.
Dušan Stanković Yes, lumina cade frumos pe peretele din drejata, just like Corina says, you can see every detail in the picture.
Иванка Стоянова Yes, the ceiling is high, and on the wall to the left of the iconostasis, the bricks are clearly visible under the plaster.
Nemanja Savić Yes, the ceiling is high, and on the wall to the right of the iconostasis you can see the colors in the picture very nicely when the light falls.
Daniel Wilson The chandelier light really picks out the details on that right-hand wall nicely. Where and when did you take this photo?
Irene Wilson The light hits that right wall just like Daniel said, but I also notice how the high ceiling makes the icons on the left look smaller than they really are. Nice shot.
Ана Илиевска Yes, the light falls nicely on the icons on the left.
Δέσποινα Νικολαΐδου The ceiling is so high that the arches above appear to have been built centuries ago, the stonework in some places has begun and is visible through the plaster.
