Martyr Andrew Stratelates and Companions
Hand of Saint Spyridon of Trimythous. Simple, strong, like that of an ordinary person who has worked all his life. It’s immediately obvious why people pray to him like that.

Danica Radovanović Yes, the hand seems to be made of stone, but you can see that it is an old church from the 16th century, the walls are thick, and the vaults are low and solid.
Marija Savić That hand is really a worker's, the fingers seem to be holding a hoe. In our region near Kragujevac, a similar old icon from the 18th century is preserved today, where Saint Spyridon is painted with the same rough palms.
მაია ჯავახიშვილი Yes, the fingers are thick and the joints rough, just like a peasant digging a vineyard.
Václav Dvořák The hand is really strong, you can see that he worked in the field. Does anyone know when services are held there and if the church is open to visitors during the day?
Κώστας Παπαδόπουλος The stone roof looks heavy and slanted, as if it has been holding out years of sun and rain.
