I am very glad that you received the items sent to you in good condition and that you liked them; Thanks be to the Lord God, who comforts us with temporary blessings, but He is also able to enrich us with spiritual gifts, if we work for Him diligently and with humility. You, mother, complain that there is no harmony between your sisters: all this, it seems, is because we are losing sight of our goal: to seek salvation, which is gained through patience, humility and love; we need fasting, prayer and other deeds, but without these virtues we will make little use of them. The warfare of the enemy is great against us, and our strength is weak; and where there is humility, there all its strength is destroyed; We, the poor, each of us are looking for our own, and not just our neighbor for creation, and having our own beam in our own eye, we do not stop talking about the bitch visible in our neighbor; That’s why we don’t have time, but become the enemy’s assistant; It is your duty to remind your sisters at any time to try to practice those virtues; and pray for them to the Lord, so that He will strengthen them in others and will not allow the enemy to cast them into foolish passions, but may He guide them on the right path, so that you too can say at the judgment of God, presenting the face of the saved: Behold, and the children whom God has given to me (Is. 8:18).
