Now we believe that one side of the wall has already been dismantled and the roof of the rafters has been prepared; Lord help you to accomplish this work for the glory of God. First, we wrote what God told us against her dispensation; If we remain silent, the stones will cry out. We must remember what image we took upon ourselves and what vow we made; having lived in a monastery, one must improve and soften one’s disposition, acquiring humility by doing the commandments of God. But even if we live a long time, and from imaginary work we acquire fruits that are contrary to spiritual ones, then what is the use of this? We wrote to her out of desire for her good; if she does not accept this, and is also offended for this, then we are pure from her blood; By reminding us repeatedly, we can remain silent without condemnation. It is best for you to remind her at every step and stop her if necessary; It will be exacted on you when you do not proclaim what is due.
