The two lambs of Christ desire to find a green pasture for themselves, so that, having fattened their souls, they may be worthy of the heavenly Shepherd and the Bridegroom of Christ as brides; they know that it is necessary to introduce into the flock sheep that are shepherded by a skilled shepherdess and that have spiritual gifts. “We, knowing their kind heart and zealous desire in relation to their disposition, advised them to come to you in your fence, stay, and see your residence. They do not know anything, usually still as worldly people, they can very well be deceived and accept tinsel instead of gold or silver, or bad grass instead of good. And in one fence there are many different opinions of minds, although, apparently, they strive for the same goal; however, they are often mistaken. We ask you to humbly accept them in your usual maternal manner: allow them to spend some time in your living room; and when it is God’s calling for them to settle in your monastery, then show your consent in accepting them; We are confident that you will love them in the Lord: we also ask your other sisters of one mind to show them the love of hospitality and spiritual disposition. Entrusting you and the entire God-gathered flock to the protection of God, we ask for His peace and blessing upon you, and with our respect we remain your unworthy pilgrims, the many sinners I.
