You alone know that, like the waterless land, my soul thirsts for You, and my heart longs for You. And Your grace has always satisfied the one who loves You. Hear, O Lord, the voice of Thy servant crying to You, show Thy face to me, darkened, enlighten me with the coming of Thy Holy Spirit, grant zeal to me, defiled, and my labor.
Lord, turn me into joy, tear off my sackcloth, and gird me with joy, and may the door of Your Kingdom be opened to me, so that, having entered into it, I will glorify Your all-holy name, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit forever and ever. Amen.
