Your Eminence Vladyka, Most Gracious Archpastor and Father! By order of Your Eminence, I most humbly present herewith “comments on some passages in the book about the white and black clergy 2 concerning the Moscow D. Academy,” and “an extract of passages from the same book,” revealing some of the dogmatic views of the author. In your hand, Most Gracious Archpastor, are our lots. – But our current leadership in St. Petersburg makes us afraid of too strict orders. Recently, the Holy Synod, as stated in the paper, “according to the conclusion of the Theological Educational Administration,” ordered the dismissal of two professors at the Yaroslavl Seminary (one of them served for more than thirty years, with honors), not entirely approved by the Diocesan Bishop 3, and one teacher of the Perervinsk School, Hieromonk Tikhon, whom the caretaker of the school recommended as follows: “of good behavior, quite serviceable,” and to whom the Academic For the first time, the management decided to make a suggestion about greater serviceability, entrusting it with the special supervision of the authorities.
