The Holy Virgin Agripina was born and raised in Ancient Rome. The slaves of Christ Vassa, Paula and Agathonika secretly took the body of the holy martyr and left Rome with it. Moving from place to place, having completed a long voyage, they sailed to the Sicilian region, where they secretly buried the holy body. As soon as Sicily was worthy to receive the honest relics of the holy martyr, then she got rid of the dark demonic malice and began to have protection from the Hagarians in the prayers of Saint Agripina. Thus, when the Hagarians approached the city where the church of the holy martyr was located and dared to conquer it, they were then given over to ultimate destruction. From the honorable tomb of the martyr, all the sick and lepers who came with faith received healing from all ailments through the prayers of the holy martyr, by the grace of Christ our God. Amen. The luminous day of your luminous deeds has come, and the Divine Church, who reveres these even more, convenes everyone to cheerfully cry out to you: Rejoice, virgin and martyr, all-honorable Agripino.
