Receiving them, Saint Theodosius turned his desert into the likeness of a heavenly abode. One day the Hagarians 477 invaded the region where the monk’s monastery was; Having devastated the surrounding area, the enemies caused harm to the monastery, but at the same time they felt the presence of Divine power in it and soon left. As a result of this invasion, the monk left the desert and returned to his homeland; here he built a small cell and continued to work out his salvation, surrounded by some of his disciples. Having lived a little in the new place of his asceticism, Saint Theodosius rested in peace in the Lord 478. Several cities in Asia Minor and Syria are known with this name.
