In that area there was a spring of bitter water; Saint Cyril of God, having prayed to God, changed the bitterness of this source to sweetness. Seeing this, the Hellenic leader, an idolater, believed in Christ, and many others believed with him. Having reached a very old age, Saint Cyril fell into the holy sleep of death and was buried with honor on that island (Sicily), giving healing to those who resorted to him with faith.
