Shcherbova The Center for the Study, Protection and Restoration of the Heritage of Priest Pavel Florensky has begun preparing the Complete Works of Priest Pavel Florensky in 15 volumes: v.1. Features of negative philosophy (philosophical and mathematical works); v.2. The Pillar and Ground of Truth. (The Experience of Orthodox Theodicy); v.3. Philosophy of cult. (The experience of Orthodox anthropodicy); v.4. At the watersheds of thought; v.5. Courses of lectures on the history of philosophy, given at the Moscow Theological Academy; v.6. Philosophical, theological and critical articles and studies; v.7. Articles and studies on the history and philosophy of art; v.8. Poems and poems; v.9. Natural science and technology; v.10. Memoirs and Genealogical Research; v.11. Diaries. Notebooks. v.13. Notes and preparation materials. v.14. Materials for the bio-bibliographic reference book. The preparation and publication of such an extensive collection of works (most volumes will consist of 2-3 books) will take a long time. Therefore, in anticipation of the Complete Works, the Center... is preparing for publication editions of the “Archive of Priest Pavel Florensky”. The peculiarity of the publication is that it involves the publication of individual works of Florensky and accompanying materials (including response letters from Florensky’s correspondents). While the Complete Works is a publication of cycles of works compiled by Florensky himself. Each issue of the Archive will contain one or more short works related to a common research topic. The sequence of releases will be determined by the degree of completion of the work. The critical principles for preparing the text are the same for the “Archive” and the Complete Works: checking published works against the author’s originals, using the author’s preparatory materials in notes, publishing appendices. The “archive” should include Florensky’s main works in all branches of knowledge, both published by him during his lifetime and those remaining in manuscript. For the first time, a whole series of still unknown scientific works and the bulk of biographical materials will be published in the “Archive”: diaries, letters and correspondence, documents.
