Изъяснение псалма 69-го.

Ps.69:1. To the head of the choir. Psalm of David. In memory. “For the end of David, for a memorial, for the Lord to save me.” I did not find this in some lists, not even in the Hebrew or in other translators. However, this is in accordance with the thought contained in the psalm, because the Prophet asks in it for salvation and deliverance from those at war. Blessed David spoke this psalm while he was being pursued by Absalom. And it is right to add to the inscription: “in remembrance,” because the remembrance of sin hurts him more than his enemies. Why does he cry: Ps.69:2. Hasten, O God, to deliver me, hasten, O Lord, to help me. “God, come to my help: Lord, seek my help.” Many kinds of disasters oppress me. Therefore, I ask you to give me an ambulance. Ps.69:3. May those who seek my soul be ashamed and disgraced! May those who wish me harm be turned back and consigned to ridicule! Ps.69:4. Let those who say [to me]: “Good! Fine!" “Let those who seek my soul be ashamed and confounded.” Let those who want my death not succeed in this, and therefore remain in shame. “Let those who wish me evil turn back and be ashamed:” “Let the abies return, ashamed, and say to us: better, better.” And besides, let those who rejoice in my misfortunes flee in shame, seeing that my affairs have changed. Ps.69:5. May all those who seek You rejoice and rejoice in You, and may those who love Your salvation continually say: “Great is God!” “Let all who seek You, O God, rejoice and be glad in You; and let them say, May the Lord be magnified, who love Your salvation.” The words: “Lord” are not in the exaplah. Fill Thy lovers with all joy, says the Prophet, let them rejoice, singing Thy good deeds. Ps.69:6. I am poor and needy; God, hurry to me! You are my help and my Savior; God! don't slow down. “I am poor and needy, God, help me,” that is, I am deprived of the righteousness mentioned above, and living in poverty, I do not have the wealth of virtue. “Thou art my helper and deliverer,” because I have been honored with Thy providence. “Lord, don’t be stubborn.” Help me quickly, do not delay fulfilling what I ask.
