Today, brethren, the Mother of our Lord Jesus Christ, having departed from this life into the heavenly kingdom, dwells in an eternal abode, in indescribable joy and joy, where angels also desire to enter. Today the grandson of the forefather Adam and the Lord ascends with glory from earth to heaven, to the dwelling, truly beloved and longed for. Today human nature is freed from the ancestral oath. Today, the godless Jews were put to shame: for now the Virgin and Mother of God, having ascended into heaven like the sun, enlightens the whole world with Her mercy and prayers, crowning with glory the honestly faithful who confess Her, the true pure Mother of God. And truly, She appeared for the offended as a helper, for the sad as an intercession, for the mourning as a consolation, for the sick as a healer, for the faithful as an affirmation; She is the praise of the apostles, the fortress of the martyrs, the imperishable crown of the saints. To Her, our Most Pure Lady, Lady and Mother of God, let us, brethren, fall with warm faith with all our hearts and all our souls. Let us celebrate Her honorable feast with love and light, with joy, joy and praise in these songs, welcoming strangers and the poor into our home, having peace and love for each other, and having our souls and bodies cleansed from sins. And so, pure, blameless and perfect with good deeds, let us worthily approach the terrible table of God, and partake of the most pure Body of God and His honorable Blood with the fear of God and faith; and not like the unworthy Judas, filled with malice, darkened by the disease of love of money and daring to approach such a terrible mystery of God: since the Divine Apostle says: he who eats and drinks unworthily, eats and drinks judgment for himself, without discerning the body of the Lord (1 Cor. 11:29). But we, brothers, will not be like that, but we will be Christ-loving, brotherly loving and virtuous. We have God's honest servants as saints: for by them we are baptized; For the sake of the grace of God, we accept them by faith in our Lord Jesus Christ; from them we partake of the most pure Body of God and Blood; through their prayers we get rid of sins; Through their prayer, the Holy Spirit transforms the prosphora offered into the Body of God, and the wine into His Holy Blood. They are called earthly angels and heavenly people. Obey, - said the Apostle, - your mentor and repent: for they watch over your souls, as if they want to reward the word: so that they do this with joy, and not with groaning (Heb. 13:17). Let us pray to the Most Pure Mother of God and from Her, the Lord God and our Savior Jesus Christ, born from Her, that through Her prayers He will deliver us from eternal torment and grant us remission of sins and eternal life, to us who celebrate Her Feast and honestly honor Her memory: for in Her prayer She said: “Sanctify those who call on My name and the Son and God who is born of Me and all that is unto salvation.” useful, fulfill those requests.” And may he save us from the evil enemy who constantly fights us, may he grant us the rest of our lives to pass peacefully and serenely, and through repentance, tears and other good deeds to please Him, so that for Her sake there we will receive real blessings, by the grace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ, with Him together glory, honor, power and worship of the Father with the Holy Spirit now and ever and unto endless ages centuries.
