About the fact that a priest who eats strangled meat, beast-eating meat, or carrion is disgorged, and a layman is excommunicated.
If a bishop, or a presbyter, or a deacon, or in general anyone from the sacred order eats meat with the blood of his soul, or beast-eater, or carrion, let him be deposed, for the law has forbidden it. If he is a layman, let him be excommunicated.
