Canon 43
On the excommunication, if they do not correct themselves, of subdeacons, singers, readers or laymen who are devoted to drunkenness and participation in gambling.
A subdeacon, reader or singer who does this should either stop or be excommunicated. The same is true for a layman.

Ὑποδιάκονος, ἢ ἀναγνώστης, ἢ ψάλτης, τὰ ὅμοια ποιῶν, ἢ παυσάσθω, ἢ ἀφοριζέσθω· ὡσαύτως καὶ λαϊκός.
