About the obstacles to being in the clergy due to marital status.
He who takes as his wife a widow, or an abandoned woman, or a harlot, or a slave, or an actress cannot be a bishop, or a presbyter, or a deacon, or even belong to the list of the sacred order.

Ὁ χήραν λαβών, ἢ ἐκβεβλημένην, ἢ ἑταίραν, ἢ οἰκέτιν, ἢ τῶν ἐπὶ σκηνῆς, οὐ δύναται εἶναι ἐπίσκοπος, ἢ πρεσβύτερος, ἢ διάκονος, ἢ ὅλως τοῦ καταλόγου τοῦ ἱερατικοῦ.
