Maramureș Day: The opening of the events will take place at the Rohia Monasterytranslated

Maramureș Day will open its events at the Rohia Monastery in Maramureș, where the second edition of the International Festival of Traditional Identity will take place on August 15.

According to a post on the event's Facebook page, the choice of location for the start of the event has a special significance, in the context of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the monastic settlement.

At the same time, the Rohia Monastery is one of the most important spiritual landmarks of Maramureș.

The organizers emphasized that the festivity aims to celebrate the cultural values of the area in a "place where wood has become heritage, faith has become continuity and tradition has remained a way of life".

Artistic program The event will bring together delegations and ensembles from eight countries: Romania, Republic of Moldova, Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Albania and India.

The "Transilvania" National Folk Ensemble, main artistic partner of the festival, will bring together on the same stage artists and representative ensembles from the participating states, in a show dedicated to living heritage and dialogue between peoples.

Më pëlqeu që e kanë zgjedhur pikërisht Manastirin Rohia për hapjen, sidomos kur festojnë 100 vjet nga themelimi. Është vend ku druri është bërë trashëgimi dhe besimi ka mbetur i gjallë, siç thonë organizatorët. Do të jetë interesant të shohim ansamblin shqiptar bashkë me ata nga Gjeorgjia e Kazakistani – shpresoj të sjellin diçka nga traditat tona krahinore.

Хубаво са избрали точно манастира Рохия за откриване, особено като навършват 100 години от основаването. Там дървото наистина е станало наследство, а вярата – продължение, както пишат. Интересно ми е как ще изглежда албанският ансамбъл до тези от Грузия и Казахстан.

Съгласна съм, Теодора, точно 100-годишнината прави избора на Рохия още по-уместен. Интересно ми е дали ще включат и някакви местни мармърешски песни в програмата, за да не остане всичко само на международните ансамбли. Páči sa mi, že otvárajú práve v Rohii pri tej 100. výročnej. Ten popis o dreve, viere a tradícii ako spôsobe života je presný, u nás v drevených chrámoch to cítiť rovnako. Zaujímalo by ma, či v programe zahrajú aj nejaké maramurešské piesne medzi tými albánskymi a gruzínskymi.

Baš lepo što otvaraju baš u Rohiji za tih 100 godina manastira. Drvo kao patimoni i vera kao svakodnevica – to je kod nas u Maramurešu istina, vidim to i kad prolazim autobusom pored sličnih crkava. Zanimljivo mi je hoće li ipak ubaciti neku našu maramurešku pesmu između albanske i gruzijske.
