Witnessing Historytranslated

The book "Witnessing History" was translated into Greek on the occasion of the completion of 10 years since the Holy and Great Synod On the Wednesday after Pentecost, Archbishop Sotirios welcomed Mr. Evangelos Sotiropoulos, President of the Lords of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Canada, to the offices of the First Archdiocese.

Archon Mr. Sotiropoulos offered His Eminence his book entitled "Witnessing History: The Holy and Great Council of the Orthodox Church", which was recently translated into Greek on the occasion of the completion of ten years since the convocation of the Holy and Great Synod, a historical event which is an important achievement both for the Mother Church of Constantinople and for its worthy ministry A.Th. His Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.

"Witnessing History" is a book written in the form of a diary, which transports the reader to that historic week when the Primates and Hierarchs of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church gathered in Crete for the work of the Holy and Great Synod.
