Northern Military District veterans and members of their families visited the church complex in the village of Barabanovotranslated

On September 16, the village of Barabanovo was visited by the leadership and wards of the Krasnoyarsk branch of the Defenders of the Fatherland state fund. The guests, among whom were veterans and family members of the SVO participants, were met by the diocesan ancient guardian, rector of the churches of the Great Martyr Paraskeva Pyatnitsa and the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Barabanovo, Priest Alexy Yazev.

The guests visited both churches and were told the history of the construction and restoration of the Paraskeva Pyatnitsa Church. Then Father Alexei performed a litany for the soldiers who laid down their lives on the battlefield for their faith and Fatherland, at which the guests were able to pray for their deceased relatives and friends. After the service, everyone was able to climb the bell tower and ring the bells.

The group also visited the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, where they got acquainted with a collection of pre-revolutionary casting bells. At the end of the visit, the guests were given a joint tea party, during which everyone could personally communicate with the priest.

It should be noted that the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation and the parish of the Barabanovsky church complex have a long-term cooperation.
