On September 1, a ceremonial assembly dedicated to the beginning of the new school year and Knowledge Day was held at the Yuratishkovsky secondary school. The guest of honor was the rector of the local St. Nicholas Church, Archpriest Sergius Kozachok.

The priest congratulated the students, teaching staff and parents on this important day. And then he noted that studying is not only the mastery of school subjects, but also a time of spiritual growth, character formation and gaining wisdom.

Father Sergius wished the children patience, diligence, God's help in comprehending the sciences, and the teachers - strength and inspiration in their noble work.

Добрий день. Приємно, що отець Сергій Козачок прийшов на лінійку і прямо сказав, що навчання — це ще й про характер і мудрість. У нашій Полтаві теж часто запрошують священників до шкіл, дітям це запам’ятовується. Сподіваюся, його слова допоможуть хоча б кільком учням не тільки предмети вчити, а й себе.

Добрий день. Приємно, що отець Сергій прямо сказав про характер і мудрість, а не тільки про оцінки. У нас в Одесі теж запрошують священників на 1 вересня, діти потім згадують саме такі слова. Сподіваюся, його побажання терпіння і Божої допомоги справді допоможуть учням.

Dobré ráno. Pekne, že otec Serhij priamo spomenul, že škola je aj o formovaní charakteru a múdrosti, nie len o známkach. U nás v Svidníku to na školách nebýva také časté, ale keď sa to stane, deti si to naozaj zapamätajú. Dúfam, že mu tie slová pomôžu aspoň pár z nich.
