Well, 90 years is a long way from those old militia "raffles" to today's cameras and radar. I was really interested in how they celebrated it in Vologda, was it a blessing in the church or just a secular ceremony?

In Tula, too, the traffic police recently celebrated an anniversary, but without a church, purely in the department with certificates and tea. And in Vologda, I wonder, did the bishop really come to bless or was it just the metropolis who gave the news? It sounds like a rare case when both shoulder straps and a cross are nearby.
