The Mozhaisk correctional colony honored the memory of employees who died in the line of dutytranslated

On September 22, a traditional memorial event was held in the Mozhaisk correctional colony - on this day, the memory of colleagues who gave their lives in the line of duty, including in the Northern Military District, is annually honored.

The commemorative ceremony was attended by the management and staff of the colony. The central event was a memorial service for the dead, which was performed by the assistant to the head of the colony for work with believers, the rector of the Archangel Michael Church, priest Sergius Andriyanov.

Addressing those gathered, the priest emphasized the importance of fidelity to duty and service to others. “Fulfilling your duty for the sake of your neighbors means showing true love and selflessness, without expecting rewards and without fear of difficulties,” noted Father Sergius.

The event was not only a tribute to the memory of fallen employees, but also a reminder of the high responsibility and dedication that is required of employees of the penal system.
