On September 5, on the eve of the day of remembrance of the Venerable Martyr Seraphim of Zhirovitsky, Bishop Ignatius of Polotsk and Glubokoe led an all-night vigil in the Epiphany Cathedral in the city of Polotsk.

Concelebrating with His Eminence were: Secretary of the Polotsk Diocese Archpriest Alexander Petlitsky, Priest Georgy Odynets, Priest John Gavrilchik, Priest Georgy Dubovsky, Priest John Nabokov, Deacon Vladimir Dzhezhora, Deacon Gennady Dzichkovsky, Deacon John Kamenkov, Deacon Boris Marmuzevich.

The liturgical hymns were performed by the bishop's choir under the direction of Tatyana Leonovich.

After the reading of the Gospel, the sermon was delivered by the secretary of the Polotsk diocese, Archpriest Alexander Petlitsky.

During the service, Bishop Ignatius anointed the worshipers with blessed oil.

Thanks for mentioning Father Alexander Petlitsky's sermon after the Gospel. I'm interested in exactly what he said because Pentecost Sunday always makes me think about the talent we've been given. It's good that Bishop Ignatius anointed everyone with oil at the end.
