In the Church of the Vilna Martyrs they prayed for teachers and studentstranslated

According to the tradition of the Orthodox Church, on the eve of and at the beginning of each school year, prayers are held in churches for students. These days, the church prays that, according to the text of the prayers, “the Lord will send down on the youths the spirit of wisdom and understanding, so that they can understand and remember good and soul-helping teaching.”
On August 28 and 31, the rector of the Church of the Holy Vilna Martyrs, Priest Mikhail Verokha, performed a prayer service before the start of the teaching. The rector of the church addressed parting words to schoolchildren and students. Father Mikhail reminded us that studying is a lot of work and encouraged us to master and improve knowledge with diligence and perseverance, with God’s help. And he urged parents and teachers not to humiliate or insult even the most careless child, but to help everyone with their studies with great patience and self-denial.
