An excursion and master class on bell-ringing art for children were held at the Upper Ufaley Churchtranslated

On the day of the Nativity of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the city of Upper Ufaley was visited by children from the summer playground of the Historical and Local Lore Museum together with researchers. The guests were met by the rector of the church, Archpriest Alexander Gorodinsky. He told the children about the Nativity of St. Nicholas, his life and works of mercy. Alexey Polonsky conducted a tour of the church. The children learned about the shrines and decoration of the church, asked questions and got acquainted with the history of Orthodox life in their hometown. Then bell ringer Nadezhda Makarova gave a master class for the guests on a mobile belfry. She talked about the meaning of bell ringing and showed how it is born. Each child was able to try to call independently. The meeting became an opportunity for the children not only to learn more about the history of the church, but also to get acquainted with the Orthodox tradition through live communication and practical experience.
