Divine services for the patronal feast were held in the Church of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Princess Olga in Novy Devyatkinotranslated

July 23, on the eve of St. equal to ow. book Olga, a festive All-Night Vigil was held in the church of the same name in the Vsevolozhsk Deanery. The clergy and parishioners collectively offered up deep prayers to their heavenly patroness, asking for her intercession before the Throne of God.

At the end of the service, the believers tasted the consecrated bread, and the clergy consecrated the water, so that everyone could take with them the grace-filled strengthening for soul and body on the eve of the throne celebration.

The holiday itself was marked by an event that, by the grace of God, will forever remain in the chronicles of the parish. Soon after the Divine Liturgy and procession of the cross, a dome with a cross was raised onto the belfry of the church under construction and solemnly installed. Just as the holy princess Olga once lit the light of Christ’s faith in the vastness of Ancient Rus', so now a new cross has shone over the densely populated region, overshadowing with grace all who live and create.
