Nice to see the first-graders getting a proper send-off at St. Boniface's with a moleben and gifts. Fr Vitaly Antonov's word to them must have landed well. Our choir does the same thing at our parish school in London every September – the kids remember it years later.

Хубаво е, че са направили молебен точно за първокласниците от „Семейно подворье“ и са им дали подаръци след словото на отец Виталий Антонов. У нас в Пловдив също благославят децата преди училище, но рядко с толкова внимание към подопечните. Интересно какво точно им е казал отецът – сигурно нещо практично за учене и послушание.

У нас у Полтаві теж після молебня на початку вересня дітям дарують іконки та солодощі. Добре, що отець Виталій Антонов сказав слово саме першокласникам з «Семейного подворья» — ці діти його точно запам’ятають. Цікаво, чи подарували їм ще й букварики?

Here in Kyiv, after the prayer service at the beginning of September, icons are always given, as well as small backpacks with stationery. It's good that father Vitaly addressed those children from the "Family Farm" - for them it will really be remembered for a long time. And in Poltava, are primers given together with sweets or separately?
