Responsibility," coinciding with the Day of the Elderly, the head of the social service department in the Lida Diocese, Archpriest Vladimir Yaromych, together with the sisters of the Vasilevsky Brotherhood, visited the infirm female parishioners Raissa Goncharova and Valentina Tarashkevich. In the Holy Scripture it is written: "When you meet the aged, rise up before him; show respect to the old man" (Leviticus 19:32). This day is not just a calendar date, but another opportunity to express deep gratitude to people who are living memories of our nation, guardians of spiritual traditions, and moral foundations.
Raissa Arkhipovna, 98 years old, was among the first to stand at the inception of the construction of the Church of All Saints. The most active parishioner and simply a good person, Raissa Arkhipovna raised a son, grandchildren, and now prays for them, eagerly awaiting the meeting with great-grandchildren.
Valentina Alekseyevna, 80 years old, a nurse, previously worked in the Psychoneurological Hospital "Ostrovlya," raised two daughters. There are a granddaughter and great-granddaughter.
