On the day of remembrance of the Great Martyr Panteleimon, the clergy of Mozhaisk visited the “Hands of Trust” charity housetranslated

On Sunday, August 9, when the Orthodox Church honors the memory of the holy great martyr and healer Panteleimon, a charitable visit of the clergy of the city of Mozhaisk to the Orthodox charity house “Hands of Trust” took place.
The Abode of Mercy was visited by the rector of the Luzhetsky Nativity of the Virgin Mary Ferapontov Monastery, hegumen David (Kurguzov) and the rector of the Archangel Michael Church, priest Sergius Andriyanov. On the trip, the clergy were accompanied by active parishioners of Mozhaisk churches.
Within the walls of the institution, a prayer service was performed to the Great Martyr Panteleimon, a saint to whom people traditionally pray for the healing of ailments and strengthening of bodily strength. After the prayer service, the clergy taught the Holy Mysteries of Christ to the wards of the mercy home undergoing treatment and rehabilitation there.
The visit was not limited only to the celebration of the sacraments: the priests held warm spiritual conversations with those living in the house of mercy. The priests paid attention to everyone, answered questions and tried to support people undergoing treatment with words of consolation and hope.
The parishioners who took part in the trip also talked with the wards, conveying to them a piece of the care and attention of the community. Similar...
