49 guides from the Sverdlovsk region visited the Assumption Church in Kasly, which is being restored. The excursion was organized by the Kasli Historical and Art Museum and the parish of the church. Experts learned about the history of the ancient church, which is gradually returning to church life. The stone Assumption Church was built in 1785 at the expense of the owner of the Kasli plant, Nikita Demidov. The church was closed in 1930, and later the building was used for industrial purposes. In 1992, the heavily destroyed church was returned to the Church. Today parishioners, philanthropists, local residents and sisters of the Intercession women's monastic community of the village of Bulzi are participating in its restoration and putting the church and territory in order. Services are being held in the church again. The Assumption Church is also associated with the memory of the new martyrs. Hieromartyrs Alexander Miropolsky and Pyotr Smorodintsev served here; they and Hieromartyr Pyotr Belyaev were buried next to the altar. All three are included in the Cathedral of Saints of the Chelyabinsk Metropolis.
