The Annual Golf Tournament of the Theological Academy was held with amazing success The 21st Annual Golf Tournament in support of the Patriarchal Orthodox Theological Academy of Toronto (PTOTA) was a resounding success on Thursday, May 28, at Richmond Hill Golf Club.
More than 130 golfers participated in the event. The organizing committee was headed by Mr. Theodoros Papadatos, Arch Master of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, and Mr. Nikos Seretis.
From subscriptions and generous sponsors, more than $120,000 was raised to support our Theological Academy.
After the round of golf, the dinner and awards ceremony took place. The dinner was attended by: Archbishop Sotirios, Theof. Bishop of Patara, Mr. Athenagoras, the Consul General of Greece in Toronto, Mr. Ioannis Hatzantonakis and his wife, Dr. Marilena Griva, Educational Advisor of the Greek Consulate in Toronto.
