And in our parish, just at the last meeting, they said that many parents at school don’t even notice how children, from the first grade, are taught “tolerance” instead of the usual conscience. The article accurately noted this quiet substitution. I wonder how other parishes deal with this?

In Kazan, at a parent meeting last year, they also suddenly started talking about “tolerance for other people’s values” instead of simply saying - learn to distinguish good from evil. Irina is right, this is a quiet substitution, the children don’t even notice. Does anyone in the parish have a way to deal with this at home, without causing scandals at school?

Here in Sofia, at the children's camp last year, a mother shared that her second grade son is already asking "is this tolerant?" instead of "is it right?". The same silent replacement, as Irina and Vasily write. At home we just read the Gospel aloud in the evening and then ask what they think - it works better than any lessons.

We have the same thing in Yaroslavl, Irina. My granddaughter in the third grade already told me how in class, instead of “don’t lie and don’t offend,” they were told “respect any choice.” I then asked the teacher directly, and she just shrugged her shoulders. Are the parents in your parish trying to somehow influence the school together or are they just discussing it among themselves?

In Krasnodar, we also started to slowly introduce this, Polina. My wife and I and a couple of other parents from the parish simply got together and wrote a collective letter to the director - without a scandal, but with specific examples from the textbook. It’s still quiet, but at least we’re not silent. How does your granddaughter feel about these lessons now?
