The priest congratulated the wards of the gerontological center on the Day of the Elderlytranslated

On September 30, cleric of the St. Nicholas Church in Ulyanovsk, Archpriest Sergiy Kichigin, together with Orthodox volunteers, visited the “Zabota” gerontological center.

Father Sergius addressed a welcoming speech to the wards of the center and congratulated them on the Day of the Elderly, which is traditionally celebrated on October 1.

Volunteers of the St. Nicholas Church prepared small gifts in advance - postcards signed by children from large families, sweets, pies and buns baked by the volunteers themselves. All elderly people who participated in the event received such kits.

Then a festive concert program took place on the territory of the gerontological center.
