Степан ПоповSaint Pancratius defended the city with a cross in his hand, that is strong. We have his icon in our temple, but it is rarely mentioned. Interestingly, was it exactly in Tavromenia or was it transferred later?

Александар РистескиYes, Stepan, his icon is in our church in Ohrid, in the southern part, near the icon of St. Kliment. I remember last year at the liturgy the priest mentioned that he really saved Tavromenium from the attack with the cross. It is interesting that here in Macedonia we celebrate together with SOC.
