Interesting to read that Lev Inyakin from the Siberian bell center went up to St. Petersburg to work with 3D-VISION. As a guy who drives around town all day, I always wondered how they get those custom bell molds so precise now. Good to see the partnership side of things moving forward.

Yeah, Lev's trip to 3D-VISION makes sense — he's the one who does the actual bronze pouring back home, so seeing the digital side helps him tweak those molds without wasting metal. I knit socks for the choir and always notice how a small change in pattern saves a ton of yarn; same idea with the bells I guess. You ever climb up to ring one yourself, Matthew?

Yeah, that makes sense—Lev's hands-on with the bronze, so seeing the 3D scans probably lets him spot tiny flaws before the pour. I stick to gardening myself, but I get the "tweak the pattern" idea from adjusting my tomato stakes every year. Have you rung any of those big bells at our parish, or just knit for the choir?
