The Romanian community in Heidelberg, Germany, will have its own place of worship, after the members of the Parish Council of the Roman Catholic community approved on Tuesday the handing over of the "St. Joseph" Church in Eppelheim to the "Holy Trinity" Parish.

Father Marius-Adrian Călin, minister of the Romanian parish, emphasized the importance of the moment for the community: "We didn't just receive a building, but the chance to offer a spiritual home to future generations."

"11 years after the establishment of the parish, the prospect of acquiring a church represents a blessing that we have waited for and prayed for for years. It is not just the fulfillment of an administrative project, but the answer to a hope that hundreds of believers carried," the cleric told Basilica.ro.

მადლობა ამ ამბავს. კარგია რომ 5 წელზე მეტი მოლაპარაკებების შემდეგ მაინც მიიღეს ეს ეკლესია „Sfântul Iosif“-დან და ახლა უკვე თავიანთი სულიერი სახლი ექნებათ ჰაიდელბერგის რუმინებს. პირადად მე მახსენებს როგორ ვილოცეთ ჩვენც ბათუმში ახალი სამრეკლოსთვის.

Рада за румын из Хайдельберга, что после пяти с половиной лет переговоров всё-таки получили именно эту церковь Святого Иосифа. У нас в Казани тоже долго искали помещение для собраний, поэтому понимаю, как это важно — иметь своё место, где можно спокойно молиться и детей приводить.
