ROEA hierarchs participate in pan-Orthodox services in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, PA – On Sunday, October 4, 2026, His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel of Detroit and the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America, together with His Grace Bishop Andrei of Cleveland, Auxiliary Bishop of the Episcopate, participated in the services held at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on the occasion of the meeting of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America.
His Grace Bishop Andrei presided over the service of Orthros (Matins), chanted by the cathedral’s chanters under the leadership of Amy Hogg. His Grace then concelebrated the Holy and Divine Liturgy with the assembled hierarchs, while His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel assisted at the Holy and Divine Liturgy.
The pan-Orthodox Hierarchical Divine Liturgy was presided over by His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, Greek Orthodox Archbishop of America and Chairman of the Assembly of Bishops. More than 300 faithful from the Pittsburgh area attended the service, which brought together hierarchs, clergy, and faithful from several Orthodox jurisdictions.
