The regent of the Bishop's Men's Choir of the Simbirsk Metropolis, Roman Khitev, conducted an educational intensive for the singers of Chelyabinsktranslated

From September 18 to 24, educational events of the youth educational choral project “Rhythms of Faith” took place in Chelyabinsk, aimed at developing church singing and supporting singing groups in parishes.

The educational singing intensive was conducted by the regent of the Bishop's Men's Choir of the Simbirsk Metropolis and the Mixed Choir of the Ascension Cathedral in Ulyanovsk, a graduate of the Saratov State Conservatory and the Saratov Orthodox Theological Seminary, laureate of all-Russian and international competitions Roman Khitev.

The classes were held three times and were devoted to analyzing the structure of the main Orthodox services:

September 22 – intensive course on the topic “All-Night Vigil”;

September 23 – intensive course on the topic “Divine Liturgy”;

September 24 - meeting for members of the choir of the Orthodox youth department of St. Simeon's Cathedral.

The singers and choir directors of the diocese took part in the joint creative process—about 60 people in total.
