PS Visarion at the patron of a monastery in Tulce: May the Mother of God protect us and cover us with her honorable girdletranslated

"May the Mother of God protect us, gird us with her honest girdle and heal us of all our illnesses, soul and body," Bishop Visarion of Tulcea emphasized on Monday at the Codru Monastery in Tulcea.

The hierarch officiated the Holy Liturgy on the occasion of the dedication of the winter chapel, dedicated to the Placing in the reliquary of the venerable Girdle of the Mother of God.

His Eminence highlighted the fact that the celebration represents a new occasion for prayer and gratitude.

"The end of August, a month full of spiritual events, brings us together again to honor the Mother of God, this time at the Placing in the coffin of her honored girdle."

"I asked God, through the intercessions of His Most Holy Mother, to help us, to bless us at the beginning of the new church year, to give us health, in all things good," said Reverend Father Visarion.

Blessing for the monastery During the service, the Bishop of Tulcii ordained Father Hieromonk Iachint Tudor as Proto-Singel.

Amin. Frumos a vorbit Preasfințitul Visarion despre începutul noului an bisericesc și despre brâul Maicii Domnului care ne tămăduiește și sufletele și trupurile. Mă bucur că l-au hirotesit protosinghel pe părintele Iachint Tudor, îl știu om harnic. Să ne acopere pe toți cu rugăciunile ei.
