The Most Reverend Father Varlaam Ploieșteanul, Patriarchal Vicar Bishop, consecrated on Saturday the chapel set up at the Central Prison of the General Directorate of Police of the Municipality of Bucharest (DGPMB).

From the cathedral they made Mars: Archim. Ciprian Grădinaru, ecclesiarch of the Chapel of the National Cathedral; Father Ciprian Ion Ioniță, patriarchal adviser; Father Mihai Hau, honorary patriarchal adviser; Father Ionuț Bărbulescu, Archdeacon of Sector 4 of the Capital, and Father Felix Iulian Radu, military priest and minister of the chapel of the Central Prison of DGEPMB.

The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the General Directorate of Police of the Municipality of Bucharest.

Thank God that the first chapel was also made in a remand. Father Felix Iulian Radu will now have a suitable place to serve, not just in a corner of the office. May it also be useful to those who stay there, at least for a moment of peace.
