PS Damaschin Dorneanul: Unfortunately, infirmities and passions only God can save ustranslated

Vicar Bishop Damaschin Dorneanul of the Archdiocese of Suceava and Rădăuţi served on Sunday in the "Holy Great Martyr Dimitrie, Fountain of Mir" Parish in the town of Trei Movile, Suceava county. "Only God can save us from sin, weaknesses and passions," the hierarch emphasized during the sermon.

His Holiness Father Damaschin Dorneanul was in the middle of the community to bless the works recently done at the place of worship.

"Let's call on God, beloved believers, because, in our weak powers, only His power, and only His grace, and only His help can escape us," urged the hierarch.

His Eminence warned: "In the beginning, sin is sweet, after which it is very bitter. It leaves a void in the soul that we can't imagine. Hence this avalanche of depression states that, unfortunately, covers more and more people."

At the end, the parish priest, Fr. Cornel Fodor, was ordained an iconom of Stavrofor, as a sign of appreciation for the cultural, pastoral-missionary and municipal activity carried out.
