An educational project about the life path of St. Nicholas of Japan is being implemented in Khabarovsktranslated

Prikhody.ru 09/21/2026. The exhibition “In Your Lines I Walk...”, dedicated to the life path and legacy of St. Nicholas of Japan, opened in Khabarovsk at the Fabriano Gallery on September 19. In particular, it includes works by Rosa Strokova, created based on the life of the great educator of Japan. The peculiarity of her paintings is that the author reveals Christian themes through images associated with the Japanese cultural tradition, which allows you to look at familiar images from an unusual side.

In addition to the artistic component, the exhibition combines poetry and modern technology. In particular, in one of the spaces you can listen to poems voiced by artists of the Khabarovsk Regional Drama Theater, and on the multimedia screen you can see how Rosa Strokova’s paintings “come to life” to the accompaniment of traditional Japanese music.

As reported in the telegram channel of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives, the project will also include educational discussions and lectures for students.
