Are these martyrs from the ancient monastery of Melishevo? I heard about them once in a story about the monks who were killed by the Turks, but I did not know the details of today’s celebration.

Yes, exactly those from the Mileševa monastery. The Turks killed them in the 1600s because they did not want to reveal where the relics of Saint Sava were hidden. Here in Niš, they are mentioned at the evening service every year on July 19, so I was there this year as well.
