The local proclamation of the Holy Olympiad from Fărcaşa: In it we discover the fruits of the Holy Spirittranslated

On Saturday, the local proclamation of the canonization of Saint Olympia from Fărcașa took place in her hometown in Neamț County.

The Holy Liturgy was officiated by Metropolitan Teofan of Moldavia and Bucovina, together with Bishop Ignatius of Husi, Vicar Bishops Nichifor Botoșanean of the Archdiocese of Iasi, Nectarie de Bogdania of the Archdiocese of Chisinau, Damaschin Dornean of the Archdiocese of Suceava and Rădăuțil and Teofil Trotusan of the Archdiocese of Roman and Bacau.

A delegation of monks from the Romanian Hermitage Prodromu from Holy Mount Athos, where Saint Petronius Tănase, the son of Saint Olimpiada from Fărcașa, lived, was also present at the service.

Silviu Cluci The solemn moment of the proclamation took place at the end of the Holy Liturgy, when the Most Reverend Father Damascene of Dornea presented the synodal tomos for the proclamation of the canonization.
