I read with interest about the proclamation from Tismana. Saint Antonina reminded me of how my grandmother from Constanța always said that peace of mind comes only from prayer done without haste, day by day. Is more known about her life before arriving at the monastery?

I also enjoyed reading it. My grandmother, who was from Oltenia, said that saints like Antonina teach us not to run after peace, but to find it by staying still and praying. I also wonder what is known about her younger years before she entered the convent.

I also read carefully. My grandmother from Timișoara, who also sang in the church choir, said that saints like Antonina show us how unceasing prayer keeps you in place even when the truck gives you life on the roads. I wonder, as you do, what is known about her youth before the convent.
