Church parishioners from Brodokalmak visited the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ in Chelyabinsktranslated

Parishioners of the Church of St. Procopius of the Ustyug village of Brodokalmak, together with the rector, Priest Alexander Varaksin, prayed during the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ in Chelyabinsk. The service was performed by Father Alexander, co-served by the cathedral clergy. The parishioners received Holy Communion. After the Liturgy, the guests visited the cathedral and a museum dedicated to the history of Christianity and Orthodox culture. For many, this trip was their first acquaintance with the cathedral. “It’s impossible to remain indifferent after such a trip! The majesty and beautiful architecture of the cathedral, the interior decoration, and the area around it aroused admiration. At the same time, it was a warm, joyful meeting of people dear to our hearts,” shared the event participants.
