A representative of the Makhachkala diocese took part in a meeting at the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Dagestantranslated

On July 2, 2026, at the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Republic of Dagestan, a meeting was held with representatives of traditional religious communities.

With the blessing of Archbishop Varlaam of Makhachkala and Derbent, the rector of the Church of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Grand Duke Vladimir in Makhachkala, Priest Vladimir Filchakov, took part in the meeting.

The meeting was devoted to the implementation of the Fundamentals of State Policy for the preservation and strengthening of traditional Russian spiritual and moral values, as well as the prevention of the penetration of neo-pagan, pro-Western and other radical religious ideologies into service, work teams and their families.
