Festive prayer service at the worship crosstranslated

On September 20, on the eve of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the rector of the St. Nicholas Church in the village of Mansurovo, Archpriest Vadim Sorokin, served a festive prayer service at the worship cross installed not far from the destroyed stone Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Alexandrovo.

Historical information: the wooden Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary has been known since 1640. At the beginning of the 18th century. Construction of the stone church began. The church was consecrated in 1728. In the early 1800s. the church was rebuilt. The main altar of the church was consecrated in the name of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, in the refectory there were chapels in the name of Nicholas the Wonderworker and the Prophet Samuel. Brick church at the estate, built in 1703–1728. instead of the previous wooden one and completely rebuilt in the classicist style in the 1st quarter.
