The Ruling Bishop performed the Divine Liturgy on the day of the festival in honor of the icon of the Mother of God, called “Three-Handed”translated

On July 11, the day of the festival in honor of the icon of the Mother of God, called the “Three-Handed One,” His Eminence Archbishop Savva of Tiraspol and Dubossary celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Tiraspol. Concelebrating with His Eminence were the clergy of the Vozdvizhensky parish and the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ, Archpriest George Skobil, hieromonks John (Traito) and Simeon (Lupashko), and Protodeacon Sergius Afteni. During the Divine Liturgy, many parishioners prayed, who came to glorify the Most Holy Theotokos and offer prayers before Her honest image. After the dismissal of the Divine Liturgy, glorification was performed in front of the Greek copy of the “Three-Handed” icon of the Mother of God. His Eminence Archbishop Sava offered a prayer to the Most Holy Theotokos, asking for Her heavenly protection, strengthening in faith, peace, health and help to all who, with hope, resort to Her maternal intercession. Then the Ruling Bishop addressed the clergy and laity with an archpastoral word, recalling the great power of the prayerful intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos and calling on believers with firm faith to resort to Her all-powerful help, remaining faithful to Christ and the Holy Church.
